6. Product information

6.1 Mode of operation

The RK Powerlift M lifting column is used to adjust the height of tables or other adjustment tasks
of a similar kind. The drive is carried out using a low voltage motor.

6.1.1 Variants

The lifting column is available in two versions. The variants differ in their type of controller.
Internal controller (Start-Stop)
The controller is installed in the lifting column. The lifting column is run using a hand switch that
is connected directly to the column.
Special versions of the lifting column exist as an alternative:
Rocker switch
Moves the lifting column via a rocker switch mounted on the outer profile.
Cable bushing
The cable bushing runs from the device plug to the other end of the device socket installed on the
lifting column. The device mounted on the lifting column can be supplied with power from the
device socket.
Power supply
Transformer for discrete supply voltages or switched mode power supply with wide input range.
Special versions
Customer-specific connecting options for control elements have been implemented.
Configuration without device socket: on versions without device socket installed with
integrated fuse holder, an external protection must take place on the lifting column. The
manufacturer of the product where the lifting column is to be installed is responsible for this.
External controller
The lifting column is connected to an external controller. The controller is not located in the lifting
column, but in the external controller. The hand switch for traversing the lifting column is
connected to the external controller.
After receiving this lifting column, check the device for possible damage and missing
components.
Immediately notify RK Rose+Krieger GmbH of any faults found.
