Meaning
White balance is adjusted automatically.
Suitable for shots in bright daylight.
Suitable for shots under cloudy skies, at dusk or
in the shade.
Suitable for shots in electric (tungsten) light.
Suitable for shots in fluorescent, red-tinged
light.
Suitable for shots in fluorescent, blue-tinged
light.
For more precise adjustment or if the light
source cannot be categorised.
NOTE!
To find the right setting, point the
camera at a piece of white paper
or similar object (in the light con-
ditions under which you want to
make the white balance adjust-
ment) and use a reference picture
to take the white balance.
