Inserting and removing the SD card

If no memory card is inserted, photos will be stored in the internal memory. Please note that
the internal memory has a limited capacity.
Use an SD memory card to increase the memory capacity. If a memory card is inserted, your
photos will be stored on the card.
Inserting the card
 Ensure the camera is switched off.
 Move the locking latch of the battery compartment in the direction shown by the arrow.
 Hold the locking latch in position and push the cover of the battery compartment in the di-
rection of the arrow. The battery compartment opens.
