6.3. FUNCTIONS
Please note! All functions can only be used if your helmet is coupled with a smartphone and the
CRATONI Connect App.
6.3.1 SMART LIGHTING SYSTEM
The Smart Lighting System consists of two LED indicators [Fig. 6d] and one LED rear light [Fig.
6c]. The Smart Lighting System can be operated using the supplied remote control and the
CRATONI Connect App.
LED rear light
The LED rear light has 2 different modes and can be switched on using the remote control (Fig.
15F) and the CRATONI Connect App:
• Press once: Permanent light
• Press twice: Flashing light
• Press three times: Light off
LED indicators
The LED indicators can be switched on using the remote control [Fig. 15e] and the CRATONI
Connect App. Flashing of the helmet is supported acoustically.
Please note! The Smart Lighting System does not replace the lighting equipment on
bicycles prescribed by the StVZO I§ 67 German Road Traffic Act.
Please note! Turning should be indicated in good time before the turning process and
clearly using hand signals. The Smart Lighting System does not replace the necessary hand
signals.
When used properly, the light serves to improve visibility. The Smart Lighting System must not
be used when it is raining, as it cannot be guaranteed that it will work when wet. The Smart
Lighting System is intended for private use only. Please note that the light may be concealed or
invisible when using a collar, rucksack or due to head movements.
