1. Die Anhängevorrichtung auspacken und die Befestigungsteile auf Vollständigkeit
überprüfen.
Im Bereich der Befestigungspunkte den Unterbodenschutz entfernen.
2. Die Rücklichter demontieren (2 Schrauben).
3. Die Radschutzkastenverkleidung demontieren (9 Klipse).
4. Den Stoßfänger demontieren:
2 Schrauben aus dem Abschlußblech entfernen,
2 Kunststoffklipse und 1 Schraube im linken und rechten Radschutzkasten
entfernen,
4 Kunststoffklipse an der Unterseite des Stoßfängers entfernen.
5. Den Innenstoßfänger demontieren (6 Muttern). Der Innenstoßfänger wird nicht mehr
benötigt. Die Muttern werden wieder benutzt.
6. Die markierte Löcher gemäß Detail 1 und 2 auf ø12mm bohren. Die Bohrspäne
entfernen und Rostschutzmittel verwenden.
7. Die Stützen "1" und "2" mit 4 Schrauben M10x30, Unterlegscheiben, Federringen
und Muttern an den Löchern "A" montieren.
8. Die Stützen "3" und "4" mit den 6 Muttern des Innenstoßfängers an den Löchern "B"
und mit 2 Schrauben M8x25, Unterlegscheiben, Federringen und Muttern an den
Löchern "C" montieren.
9. Den Querträger mit 4 Schrauben M10x30, Unterlegscheiben und Federringen an den
Löchern "D" montieren.
10. Einen Ausschnitt in der rechten Radschutzkastenverkleidung gemäß Detail 3
vornehmen.
11. Einen Ausschnitt im Stoßfänger gemäß Detail 4 vornehmen.
12. Die Anhängevorrichtung festziehen. Handhaben Sie hierbei die Anzugsmomente
gemäß Seite 1.
13. Alle in Punkt 2, 3 und 4 entfernten Teile wieder montieren.

1. Unpack the towing bracket and check its contents against the parts list. If
necessary, remove the underseal from around the fitting points of the luggage
compartment/frame members.
2. Dismount the rear light units (2 bolts).
3. Dismount the wheel arch lining (9 clips).
4. Dismount the bumper:
Remove 2 bolts from the rear panel.
Remove 2 plastic clips and 1 screw in the LH and RH wheel arch.
Remove 4 plastic clips on the lowerside of the bumper.
5. Dismount the inside bumper (6 nuts). The inside bumper will no longer be used,
but the nuts will be used again.
6. Drill the marked holes to ø12mm according detail 1 and 2. Remove the bore
chips and apply anti-rust primer.
7. Mount the supports "1" and "2" at the holes "A" using 4 bolts M10x30, plain
washers, spring washers and nuts.
8. Mount the supports "3" and "4" at the holes "B" using the 6 nuts of the inside
bumper and at the holes "C" using 2 bolts M8x25, plain washers, spring washers
and nuts.
9. Mount the crossbar at the holes "D" using 4 bolts M10x30, plain washers and
spring washers.
10. Make a recess in the RH wheel arch lining according detail 3.
11. Make a recess in the bumper according detail 4.
12. Attach the towbar. Use the tightening tolerances as shown on page 1.
13. Replace all removed parts mentioned in point 2, 3 and 4.
