Changing dies and punch guide

•
Remove screws (4) to change the die and the
punch guide.
•
Clean the bearing surfaces of the die carrier (7).
•
Ensure that the replacement parts are clean.
•
Grease the guide surfaces of the punch guide with
lubricating grease "S1" TRUMPF Order No.
121486.
•
Retighten the screws when mounting the die and
the punch guide.
(tightening torque 16.5Nm)
Use only original screws!
Resharpening tools
Punch
The stamp may be sharpened according to the table
below depending on the die used.
•
Sharpen the front surface evenly (at 90° to side
surfaces) and provide proper cooling.
•
Touch up the cutting edge with a fine oil stone.
•
Ensure that the minimum length is maintained.
Punches that are shorter must be replaced.

Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any work on the machine!
Punch guide / die carrier l u b r i c a t i o n
Both the punch guide and the die carrier are to be
lubricated after every tool change.
Original grease:
Gear/gear head l u b r i c a t i o n
Gear grease must be refilled or changed after repairs
but no later, however, than after 300 hours of operati-
on.

Changing carbon brushes
The machine will stop if the brushes are worn.
Carbon brush replacement and all other repair work is
to be carried out by an expert!
Repairs
Danger of injury
Electric tools conform to the applicable sa-
fety regulations. Repairs may only be carried
out by qualified electricians in order to pre-
vent unnecessary accidents.
If the machine has been disassembled, en-
sure that the shaft (11) is tightened with a
tightening torque of 25Nm when reas-
sembling the unit.
Assembly of motor
Use only original spare parts.
Please note the specifications on the output plate.
