Die Dachbbretter sollten
mit je 2 Nägeln an den
Pfetten / Seitenwand
befestigt werden.
Befestigen Sie nun die breiten
Traufkantenbretter C9 bündig mit der
Dachfläche Zeichnung 6.
Nun folgen die Windfedern A6/B3 – diese
sollten mind. 2 cm über die Dachfläche über-
stehen – Nun können Sie bereits mit der
Dachpappeindeckung beginnen (es liegen ca.
19lfdm Dachpappe bei).
Schneiden Sie die Bahnen in Dachlänge exakt
rechtwinklig zu und beginnen Sie genau par-
allel zur Traufkante mit der Verlegung – hierbei
unbedingt einen Überstand von 2 - 3 cm als
Tropfkante belassen – dies schützt die
Dachbretter am besten vor Feuchtigkeit
Zeichnung 6a. Die folgenden Bahnen wer-
den von oben einige cm überlappend vernagelt.
Schließlich werden die Enden der Dach-
pappbahnen mit den Leisten A7/B4 hinter den
Windfedern befestigt.
Sie können diesen Ortgang aber auch
'professioneller' ausführen, indem Sie
diese Leisten z.B. unter die Pappe hinter
den Windfedern befestigen und die
Dachpappe dann über die Windfedern
führen – wie auch immer – beachten Sie,
daß ein Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in
die Dachfläche ausgeschlossen wird.

Attach the wide fascia boards C9 flush
with the roof – diagram 6.
Now it is the turn of the wind shields A6/B3 –
they should protrude at least 2 cm over the sur-
face of the roof. Then work can begin on the
roofing fabric.
Cut sheets the length of the roof with exactly
90° corners and start laying the roofing felt
parallel to the eaves – be sure to allow an over-
hang of 2–3 cm – this is the best way of
protecting the roof planks from dampness. See
diagram 6a. Start at the eaves and finish
with a strip along the apex.
Finally, the ends of the lengths of roofing fabric
are fixed behind the wind shields using the
strips A7/B4.

You can perform this task even more
professionally by fixing these strips, for
instance, under the roofing fabric behind
the wind shields and then pulling the
roofing fabric over the wind shields. In
any case, make absolutely certain that no
dampness can penetrate the roof.
The roofing fabric supplied is a temporary
felt. Please replace it with suitable roofing
material (like shingle) within 6 months.

Fixez maintenant les planches de rives C9
bord à bord avec la toiture.

Posez ensuite les planches de corniche A6/B3
– elles doivent dépasser de 2 cm la toiture –
Commencez ensuite à poser le feutre bitumé.
Découpez des bandes à angle droit et posez-
les parallèlement à la planche de rive en lais-
sant dépasser de 2 à 3 cm pour empêcher l'hu-
midité de pénétrer. Voir schéma 6a. Posez
les autres bandes en les superposant en haut
de quelques cm puis clouez-les.
Pour terminer, fixez les extrêmités des bandes
de feutre bitumé à l'aide des baguettes A7/B4
derrière les planches de corniche.

Vous pouvez aussi réaliser cet avant-toit
d'une façon plus "professionnelle" :
p. ex. fixez ces baguettes sous le feutre
bitumé derrière les planches de corniche
puis faites passer le feutre bitumé sur les
planches de corniche. Quelque soit la
pose, veillez toujours à ce que l'humidité
ne puisse pas pénétrer.
Le matériau de la couverture de toit inclus
est un feutre temporaire. Veillez à le
remplacer avec un matériau de couverture
de toit plus approprié (de type shingle)
dans les 6 mois.
