SYMPTOM
Vacuum switch
has tripped

Appliance is burn-
ing dirty and lazy.
NOTE: When the green light fl ashes it is indicating it is in pilot mode, or low burn. The Heat level setting
light will not change, and will still display the current manual setting of heat level. The only way to
indicate that they are in pilot or low burn is when the power light is fl ashing green.

Unhook the hose form the vacuum switch and blow
through it. If air will not fl ow through the hose, use a wire
coat hanger to clear blockage.
Follow all the cleaning procedures in the maintenance
section.
Ensure the door is closed and gaskets are in good shape.
If not, replace gaskets.
Check the connectors that attach the blue wires to the
vacuum switch.
Check power going to the combustion blower. It should
read 115V. If there is power, the blower is defective.
Replace blower.
Control board is not sending power to combustion blower
or vacuum switch. Replace the defective control board.
Clear the affected areas of any obstructions.
Ensure burn pot is clean.
Ensure to use dry pellets.
Press and hold the prime button and advance it to the next
trim setting.
It is normal for the glass to accumulate a tan colour build-
up of fl y ash. Burning on low settings will produce a dark
colour build up. A heavy dark build-up could indicate a
problem. See "CARE OF GLASS" section.
