Connecting To A Lan - Promax RP-250 Manuel

1) Prior to connecting the equipment to a PC, disconnect both from their
respective power supplies.
2) Connect the end of the connection cable corresponding to the RP-250 to
connector [4] and the other end to the serial port of your computer.
The communication parameters used by the RP-250, and which therefore must
be defined on the remote unit (PC ) are the following ones:
Rate
Data bits
Parity
Stop bits
The remote control software RM-250 (optional accessory) permits to carry out
from a computer the following option:
UPGRADE: Allows to update the RP-250 software version.

Connecting to a LAN.

The instrument can be connected to a local network for data transfer, by means
of the ETHERNET connector [6] located in the lateral panel.
