1 GENERAL

Description

The RP-250 pilots generator is an instrument especially designed to verify
coaxial wiring networks and associated devices. It is an ideal equipment to generate
test signals in order to equalise the
antennas facilities, cable, ISM (Wireless Bluetooth) and satellite frequency bands.
Being able to provide up to eight continuous wave (CW) signals in the frequency band
from 5 to 2500 MHz. This allows to carry out a checking in full lines or line sections and
operative devices as much in the downlink band as in the return, TV , IF satellite and
WI-FI signal distribution paths.
The output level is selectionable from 90 to 110 dBmV and independently for
each carrier. It is an ideal instrument as much for commissioning new lines as for testing
already operative networks.
This instrument allows to make automatic measurements to equalise the IF
band installation, whenever is used in combination with analysers which perfoms this
function.
A local area network connector also is available, additionally; it includes a WEB
server to remotally control the instrument and the possibility of developing SNMP
protocols in order to be integrated in monitoring systems for quality assuring tasks.
The instrument is powered by means of an internal rechargeable battery.
The integration of all of these functions in a device that weights less than 1.5 kg,
with ergonomic and robust design, make the RP-250 an unbeatable fieldwork tool.
