5.3 Assembling the disc diffusers
The stainless steel pipes for ventilation are
to be assembled in the tank according to
their installation size in line with the
drawings below.
All connections are to be sealed using
Teflon tape. Finally, the concrete weight
supplied is to be placed on to the downpipe.

5.4 Connecting the holding plate and the lifters in the SBR basin
The lifters are then clamped to the holding plate. In
doing so, the excess sludge lifter (J) is mounted on
the left (short) side and the clear water extraction
lifter (I) is mounted on the right (long) side of the
holding plate.
