When you have finished cooking
1. Select the cooking zone (A).
2. Alter the power output level (D) to zero.
NOTE: The hob will display "H" to show the cooking zone is too hot to touch.
This is due to the convection of heat generated in the pan transferring back to the cooking surface
of the hob during use and is perfectly normal.
Important
The display will flash with
• you have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone
• the chosen pan is not suitable for induction cooking
• the pan is too small or not correctly centred on the zone
As a result the hob will automatically switch off after one minute.

Safety mode (Child lock)
You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use by children.
When the controls are locked, all the controls except the OFF control are disabled.
To lock the controls
Touch the key (B)
To unlock the controls
1. Touch and hold key (B)
2. You can now start using your induction hob.
3. If you leave the hob locked and it switches off automatically, turn the hob back on using (C)
and unlock using (B)
WARNING: When the hob is in the lock mode, all the controls are disabled except
OFF which can still be used in an emergency.

Using the boost function
To activate
1. Select the cooking zone using (A).
2. Press the boost key (F)
maximum.
To cancel
1. Select the cooking zone (A) that has boost engaged.
2. Touch the power slider control (D) to choose the new power level.
Note: Pressing the boost key
During boost operation power output will revert to level 9 after five minutes to avoid overheating.
