7. Transmitter controls
1 Telescopic antenna
You can unscrew the telescope antenna for transport if
desired.
2 Loop for carrier strap
3 Slider for CH1/reverse (steering)
If the steering reacts in the opposite direction of the
steering wheel (8) you can reverse the turning direction
with this slider.
4 Slider for CH2/reverse (drive)
Use this to reverse the reaction of the drive (forwards/
backwards) to the operation of the lever (13).
5 Three LEDs (red, yellow, green) for the battery status
indication
When all 3 LEDs are lit, the batteries/rechargeable
batteries are fully charged.
When the green LED goes off (only the red and the
yellow one are still lit), the batteries/rechargeable
batteries are weak and need to be replaced soon.
If only the red LED is still lit, the batteries/rechargeable
batteries are spent and must be exchanged for new
ones.
6 Exchangeable crystal
A crystal with the same frequency must be inserted in
the transmitter and in the receiver.
Transmitter crystals are generally marked with "TX", receiver crystals with "RX". Do not mix up the two crystals!
7 On/off switch
Use this slider to turn the transmitter on or off. When you slide the slider towards the steering wheel (8), the
transmitter is on. Never turn the transmitter off when the vehicle is in operation!
8 Rotating wheel for steering
9 Trim control for steering
Use this trim control to set the straightforward motion of the vehicle. Adjust the front wheels of the stationary
vehicle in such a way that they are just about straight. The exact setting of the directional stability is carried out
later when driving the vehicle.
