MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE is compatible for use with the gas stated on its
label ONLY! Never use it with different type of gas.
CHECK OF TIGHTNESS
•
After connection to the medical gas, check the product for visible or
audible leakage.
If you detect any leakage, use the below procedure „After use" and
return MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE for maintenance and repair.
6.2. CONNECTION AND USE OF OUTLET
LIST OF MEDICAL DEVICES COMPATIBLE WITH MEDICONNECT-DUO-
LINE CONNECTIONS
Hoses, flow meters, ventilators, low pressure regulators.
For information about the type of quick coupler for your product see AP-
PENDIX 1.
For Information about connecting / disconnecting procedure for your prod-
uct see APPENDIX 2.
Before connecting of any medical device, make sure your connector is
compatible with MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE outlet (see APPENDIX 1).
When more MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE outlets are used in the same time
may be the capacity of gas supply and performance of connected device
negatively affected.
Make sure that the capacity of the equipment to be supplied by the
MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE is corresponding with capacity of the gas
source equipment. Take into account the pressure drop of the flexible
hoses.
6.3. AFTER USE
•
Disconnect the used medical device from MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE
and then disconnect MEDICONNECT-DUOLINE from gas supply.
7. CLEANING
Remove general contamination with a soft cloth damped in oil-free, oxy-
gen-compatible soap water & rinse with clean water. The cleaning agents
used must comply with standards concerning cleanliness for oxygen
devices. Disinfections can be carried out with an alcohol-based solution
(spray or wipes).
Do not use cleaning solutions containing ammonia!
Do not expose the device to influences of water or any other liquids.
Do not expose to high temperatures (such as in an autoclave).
