Light Cord Routing
The ColorLogic light cord is direct burial rated. It can be run through conduit all the way to the junc-
tion box light driver (water installation) or run underground and then fastened to the light driver using
the provided strain relief (landscape installation). Connection from the light must always be made in
the junction box driver.
Junction Box Light Driver
As shown in the diagram below, the LMCUSPS005 driver is designed to distribute low voltage power
to as many as five ½" LED lights, each with their own ½" conduit connection. The driver also offers
two access holes for ¾" conduit; one for incoming power and one optional outgoing connection
which can be used to power other drivers or equipment. The LMCUSPS005 comes with one ¾" cap
and two ½" caps which can be used to cover unused access holes.
A light driver with all five lights connected will draw up to 23 watts. Up to 13 light drivers can be
powered by a single 300 watt LTBUY11300 Hayward transformer and up to 2 light drivers can be
powered by a single 70 watt Hayward junction box transformer.
The light driver should be adequately supported by the electrical conduit connections. If additional
support is desired, two recessed ½" holes are provided for use with ½" rebar or copper pipe.
