ACQUIRING CONTROL DEVICE
To make radio module MR16 acquire one or more remote controls:
1. Set radio module to acquisition mode in following way:
a. Set both DIP switches A1 and A2 to ON.
b. Press three times control pushbutton on radio module MR16. Radio module sends out 3 beeps and
LEDs A and B (RC), indicating that you entered control devices acquisition mode, go on steady.
c. Keep pressed for 3 seconds control pushbutton on radio module MR16. Radio module sends out 3
beeps and LEDs A and B (RC) blinks once to indicate that remote controls can be acquired.
2. Press any key on remote control to send the code. If the code is received, radio module sends out 2
beeps and corresponding LED (1÷8) goes on to indicate that remote control was acquired. If radio
module sends out one beep only, it means that remote control had been already acquired. If radio
module MR16 sends out one two-tone beep, it means that the limit was reached of devices that can be
acquired and that no more devices can be added.
3. Repeat point 2 to acquire one more remote control, or reset both DIP switches A1 and A2 of radio
module MR16 to OFF to quit acquisition mode (radio module MR16 sends out one two-tone beep). Radio
module MR16 automatically quits acquisition mode if no operations are performed for 3 minutes.
DEVICES RESET
Reset radio module MR16
To cancel all radio module MR16 acquisitions:
1. Power off radio module MR16.
2. Set DIP switch B8 on radio module to ON, keep programming key pressed and power back the device.
3. All LEDs are lit and radio module sends out 2 beeps. Acquired devices are removed.
4. Set DIP switch B8 to OFF again: radio module MR16 returns to operation mode.
Reset sirens
To reset a siren:
1. Take off its batteries and let them off for one minute
2. Set its DIP switch 6 to ON
3. Insert the batteries ((the siren sends out one beep)
4. Reset DIP switch 6 to OFF
Resetting a siren involves that it is acquired back from radio module MR16.
