The indicator should not change within 15 minutes, otherwise the system has a leak.
The simplified leak testing process does not replace the pressure and leak testing of the
LPG system by a professional*.
Test connection for leak tester
A leak tester can be connected to the test connection
LPG system.
CLOSED
7. Once the test is complete, turn the test valve
8. Spray the connection with a foam producing substance according to EN 14291
(e.g. leak detector spray, order no. 02 601 00).
9. Check the leak-tightness at the connection by seeing whether bubbles form
in the foam producing substance..
10. Fasten the screw caps back on

START-UP

Apply the sticker accompanying the
product to a visible area of the safety
gas pressure regulati on device.

1. Close all shut-off fittings on the connected
consumption equipment.
OPEN
2. Open the cylinder valves.
3. Unscrew the screw caps of the test connection
and test valve
4. Connect the test pump to the test connection
using the test hose
5. Turn the test valve
"OPEN" position using a suitable SW6 tool.
6. Carry out leak testing at max. 150 mbar.

1. Start the system by slowly opening
the gas supply while the shut-off
fitting of the connected consumption
equipment remains closed. Observe
the assembly and operating manual
of the connected consumption

2. By pushing in the blue excess flow
device SBS push button, hold this
down for 5 seconds (e.g. Caramatic
ConnectDrive – not included).
Activate the crash sensor the first time
you start the system:

push button, hold this down for 5
seconds until the sphere is in position
and rolling sounds can no longer be
heard.
