not original SOLO spare parts or such parts authorised by SOLO, or if repairs were carried out by others
than an approved customer service shop or authorised expert. The same conditions apply to
supplementary equipment and accessories.
Possible cause
- Engine bolts or mower chassis

- Blade out of blance or faulty
- Friction clutch faulty
- Has the brake bar been pulled/pressed
against the handle?
- Is the throttle control correctly
positioned?
- Is the Bowden cable/engine brake
correctly adjusted?

- Fuel tank empty
- Air filter contaminated
- Throttle Bowden cable kinked
- Spark plug sooty
- Blade fasteners or friction clutch loose - Check blade fasteners
- Blade blunt
- Cutting height too low
- Engine speed too low

Remedy
- Retighten screws/bolts
of the mower
- Check blade fasteners
- Balance or replace cutting blade
- Possibly replace friction washers
(in pairs)
- Press brake bar
- Check for correct adjustment
- Check for correct adjustment
- Clean or replace spark plug
- Fill fuel tank
- Clean or replace air filter
- Adjust or replace the throttle
Bowden cable
- Clean spark plug
- Sharpen the cutting blade
- Correct height adjustment
- Move throttle control to max.
