nylon line replacement
1. Shut engine off, and disconnect spark plug wire. Lay unit on
ground with trimmer head assembly up.
2. Hold drum (A) firmly, and turn knob (B) clockwise. Remove knob and
spring (C).
3. Pull spool (D) from drum (A), and pull drum (A) off mounting shaft.
4. Use one piece of new nylon line (E) and thread through the molded loop (F)
on the spool. Pull line tight and adjust so one end is 15 cm (6 in.) longer than
the other.
5. Hold the spool, pegs toward you. Place index finger between the two strands,
and wind line tightly and evenly in the direction of arrow. Avoid twisting
lines.
