Putting into operation

Positioning
The light must have a stable instal-
lation position.
Sensors
(DU* /R and DU* /P)
For lights provided with sensors,
the correct selection of the instal-
lation site has a decisive effect on
ensuring reliable functioning.
Place the light such that the sensor
covers most of your workplace (see
Fig. 20).
Avoid direct incident daylight from
the window. If necessary, select a
position with a larger distance to
the window.
Make sure that the motion detector
does not detect any moving equip-
ment pieces (e.g. curtains).
Settings
The light is set in-factory in such
a way that it can be operated wit-
hout changing the operating para-
meters. Moreover the light levels
can be adjusted by the user accor-
ding to his personal requirements
(see following pages).
However, if necessary, further
parameters can also be chan-
ged and adjusted to the special
requirements of the user. For this
purpose, we recommend down-
loading our extended manual
"PULSE PIR" or "PULSE HFMD"
from the internet.
