PERIODIC SERVICE
1. Make sure that each electrolyte level is to the
bottom of vent wells, if necessary, add only
distilled water in a well-ventilated place.
(1) Battery electrolyte level
2. To slow charge the battery, connect the charger
positive terminal to the battery positive terminal,
and the negative to the negative, then recharge in
the normal manner.
3. Quick recharging charges the battery at a high rate
in a short time. This is only for emergencies.
4. Recharge the battery as early as possible, or
battery life will be extremely shortened.
5. When exchanging an old battery for a new one,
use a battery of equal specifications shown in
page 14 to 15.

If reversed, the contact of tools
on the battery may cause a

stopped with the starter switch
(key).
Instructions for long term storage
1. When storing the generator for long periods of
time, remove the battery, adjust the electrolyte to
the proper level, and store in a dry and dark place.
2. The battery naturally discharges while it is stored.
Recharge it 1 month in summer, and every 2
months in winter.
