CAUTION:
LCD screen of the Handheld Monitor, pay
careful attention to the seams around the
edge of the display and the back of the screen
where it attaches to the grip. When cleaning
the grip section, pay careful attention to the
seams around the edge of the button panels
and labels.
• Follow the instructions below to clean and
disinfect the handheld monitor. These
instructions were validated using the following
wipes: CaviWipes
and Clinell
choose a wipe not listed here, you must validate
it before use.
•
Using a fresh, moist disinfectant wipe,
thoroughly wipe the front and back
of the LCD screen of the Handheld Monitor.
Discard the wipe. Repeat with a fresh wipe for
a minimum of thirty (30) seconds. Discard
the wipe.
• Using a fresh, moist wipe, thoroughly
wipe the grip section of the Handheld Monitor.
Discard the wipe. Repeat with a fresh wipe for
a minimum of thirty (30) seconds. Discard
the wipe.
• Using a fresh, moist wipe, thoroughly wipe
the seams of the Handheld Monitor for one
(1) minute.
•
Using a fresh, moist wipe, thoroughly wipe all
surfaces of the Handheld Monitor for a minimum
of ten (10) seconds. Discard the wipe.
•
Allow the wiped and wetted Handheld Monitor
to stand for a minimum of three (3) minutes.
(For SANI-CLOTH, use additional wipes if
needed to ensure the device is visibly wet for
three (3) continuous minutes.)
•
At the end of the three (3) minutes, use a sterile
swab saturated with 70% Isopropyl alcohol (IPA)
to thoroughly swab the seams around the edge
of the button panels for a minimum of fifteen
(15) seconds.
