5.1.4 Use the bead presser during the
demounting procedure
A. Position the bead presser approx. 2 cm (3/4") from
the rim edge.
Press down the sidewall of the tyre to ease the
introduction of the bead lifting tool (Fig. 5.2.1-1)
Move the roller to rest position.
B. Demount the fi rst bead as previously described in
the manual.
C. Position the lower bead breaker roller next to the
lower rim edge (Fig. 5.2.1-2).
Lift the lower bead breaker disk to facilitate the
introduction of the cover lifting lever and then start the
rotation to break the tyre bead (Fig. 5.2.1-3).
