CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORT
Defrost process
Defrost is melting of frost deposit and ice accretion accumulates in your deep freezer. The VF 500 model deep
freezers are equipped with an automatic defrost system in order to melt the ice accretion which may occur before
the evaporator seen from the interior fan grid.
For the VF 372 model frozen food storage cabinets, the racks may have frost deposits or ice accretions in time.
The manual defrost process should be performed because this condition will cause the cooling capacity
decreased and excessive power consumption.

If, your deep freezer will be kept in a closed environment, it will be advantageous for your deep
freezer to cover it by a cotton cloth for increasing its life cycle.
Do not cover your deep freezer by a plastic cover. Plastic will cause your deep freezer sting and
precipitate because it does not let any air in. Corrosion can be observed on your deep freezer as a
result of precipitation.
