7.13 Exchanging the primary fuse
The primary fuse is in the inner section and is accessible from outside.
•
Isolate the lifting column from the mains.
•
Open the fuse box on the equipment side with a suitable screwdriver.
•
Replace the blown fuse with a new fuse of the same type
(see chapter 6.2).
•
Close the fusebox completely again after exchanging the fuse.
Using unsuitable fuses or repairing fuses can cause a fire, lead to injuries and accidents,
and damage the lifting column.
•
Always isolate the lifting column from the mains before you change a
fuse.
•
Never repair a fuse.
•
Always replace a fuse with a new fuse of the same rating and the same
size.
•
Never replace a fuse with a metal strip, a paper clip or anything similar -
not even for a short time!
Do not continue to operate the lifting column if the fault cannot be rectified by ex-
changing the primary fuse. Contact Rose+Krieger!
