AGC
automatic gain control
The control range of the AGC can be set to LOW (18 dB),
MIDDLE (24 dB), or HIGH (28 dB). For special applica-
tions, it is possible to deactivate the AGC (setting OFF).
The AGC will increase the video signal level in case of
poor lighting, however, with a high amplification, the S/N
ratio of the camera will deteriorate. The factory setting of
the camera is MIDDLE which is the optimum setting for
most surveillance applications.
BLC
backlight compensation
Objects appearing in the backlight can be made brighter
with this function. For this purpose, select the compensa-
tion level X1, X2, or X3.
