Error Messages

w WARNING
• Never make therapy decisions based on an error message.
• If you have any concerns or see any other error message, contact Accu-Chek Customer Care at
1-800-363-7949.
The meter will not turn on or the
display is blank.
Batteries are dead.
Insert new batteries.
Display is damaged. /
Meter is defective.
Contact Accu-Chek Customer
Care at 1-800-363-7949.
Extreme temperatures.
Move the meter to a more
temperate area.

The meter is connected to a PC
and a test cannot be performed.
EITHER remove the USB cable
and perform a test OR remove
the test strip and start a data
transfer.
The connection between the
meter and PC was lost.
Disconnect and reconnect the
USB cable and retry the
connection. Contact Accu-Chek
Customer Care at
1-800-363-7949 if the
connection is lost again.
