2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/ EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/ 23/ EWG.
Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung (230 V~) versorgt. Neh-
men Sie deshalb nie selbst Eingriffe im
Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes Vor-
gehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektri-
schen Schlages. Beim Öffnen des Gerä-
tes erlischt jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich.
Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. zie-
hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Lassen Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall in einer Fach-
werkstatt reparieren.
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder durch eine autorisierte
Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung
aus der Steckdose.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-
geschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to the directive for electromag-
netic compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low volt-
age directive 73/23/EEC.
Attention! The unit uses lethal mains voltage
(230 V~). In order to prevent a shock
hazard, do not open the cabinet. Leave
servicing to authorized, skilled person-
nel only. Moreover, any guarantee claim
expires if the unit has been opened.
Please observe the following items in any case:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g.
drinking glasses, on the unit.
Do not operate the unit or immediately disconnect
the plug from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable.
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident.
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by author-
ized personnel.
A damaged mains cable may only be repaired by
the manufacturer or by authorized skilled person-
nel.
Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the socket.
For cleaning only use a dry soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
If the unit is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not connected or operated in the
correct way or not repaired by authorized person-
nel, no liability for any damage will be accepted.
If the unit is to be put out of operation permanently,
take it to a local recycling plant for disposal.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses 3-Kanal-Stereo-Mischpult mit integriertem
Beat-Counter ist für beliebige DJ-Anwendungen im
privaten oder professionellen Bereich geeignet. Es
kann sowohl frei aufgestellt als auch in ein Bedien-
pult eingebaut werden.

Gerät anschließen
Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten bzw. vor dem
Ändern bestehender Anschlüsse das Mischpult aus-
schalten.
1) Die Stereo-Tonquellen an die entsprechenden
Cinch-Eingangsbuchsen der Kanäle 1 – 3 an-
schließen (Buchse LEFT = linker Kanal; Buchse
RIGHT = rechter Kanal):
- Geräte mit Line-Pegel-Ausgang (z. B. MiniDisk-
Recorder, CD-Spieler, Kassettenrecorder) an
die Buchsen (30) und – wenn der Umschalter
(23) des jeweiligen Kanals auf Position CD
gestellt wird – an die Buchsen (31);
- Plattenspieler mit Magnetsystem an die Buch-
sen (31); den Umschalter (23) des jeweiligen
Kanals dann auf Position PHONO stellen.
Die Klemmschraube GND (26) kann als ge-
meinsamer Massepunkt genutzt werden: Den
Masseanschluß des Plattenspielers mit der
Klemmschraube verbinden.
2) Ein DJ-Mikrofon an die XLR-Buchse DJ MIC (1)
oder an die Klinkenbuchse MIC (24) anschlie-
ßen. (Bei Anschluß eines Mikrofons an die Klin-
kenbuchse wird die XLR-Buchse abgeschaltet.)
3) Den Eingang des Verstärkers an den Masteraus-
gang (27) anschließen.
4) Ist eine Monitoranlage vorhanden, den Verstärker
der Monitoranlage an den Ausgang BOOTH (28)
anschließen.
5) Sollen Tonaufnahmen gemacht werden, das Auf-
nahmegerät an den Record-Ausgang REC (29)
anschließen. Der Aufnahmepegel ist unabhängig
von der Stellung des Masterreglers (17) und des
Reglers BOOTH (15).

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter L or coloured red.

Applications
This 3-channel stereo mixer with integrated beat
counter is suitable for any desired private or profes-
sional DJ applications. It may either be used as a
table top unit or be installed into a console.

Connection of the unit
Prior to connection of units resp. prior to changing
existing connections switch off the mixer.
1) Connect the stereo audio sources to the corre-
sponding phono input jacks of channels 1 to 3
(jack LEFT = left channel; jack RIGHT = right
channel):
- Units with line level output (e. g. minidisk re-
corder, CD player, tape recorder) to the jacks
(30) and – if the selector switch of the corre-
sponding channel is set to position CD – to the
jacks (31);
- Turntables with magnetic system to the jacks
(31); then set the selector switch (23) of the
corresponding channel to position PHONO.
Clamping screw GND (26) may be used as
common ground: Connect the ground of the
turntable to the clamping screw.
2) Connect a DJ microphone to the XLR jack DJ
MIC (1) or to the 6.3 mm jack MIC (24). (If a micro-
phone is connected to the 6.3 mm jack, the XLR
jack will be switched off.)
6) Für eine optimale Pultbeleuchtung kann an die
XLR-Buchse LAMP (4) eine Schwanenhalsleuchte
(12 V/5 W max.) angeschlossen werden, z. B. die
Leuchte GNL-405 aus dem Programm von „img
Stage Line". Die Leuchte wird mit dem Mischpult
ein- und ausgeschaltet.
7) Über einen Stereo-Kopfhörer kann sowohl der
Pre Fader-Pegel jedes Eingangskanals sowie das
laufende Musikprogramm vor dem Masterregler
(17) abgehört werden (siehe Kap. 5.5 „Vorhören
der Kanäle über einen Kopfhörer"). Den Kopfhö-
rer (Impedanz ≥ 8 Ω) an die Buchse PHONES
(20) anschließen.
8) Zuletzt den Stecker des Netzkabels (25) in eine
Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.

Bedienung
Vor dem Einschalten sollten die Ausgangsregler MA-
STER (17) und BOOTH (15) auf Minimum gestellt
werden, um starke Einschaltgeräusche zu vermei-
den. Dann das Mischpult mit dem Ein- /Ausschalter
POWER (14) einschalten. Zur Anzeige der Betriebs-
bereitschaft leuchtet die rote LED (13) über dem
Schalter. Anschließend die angeschlossenen Geräte
anschalten.
5.1 Grundeinstellung der Eingangskanäle
Für eine optimale Pegeleinstellung der an den Ein-
gangskanälen angeschlossenen Geräte alle Gain-
Regler (6), Klangregler (7) und den Balanceregler
(16) in die Mittelposition stellen.
1) Mit den Eingangsumschaltern (5) die ange-
schlossenen Signalquellen anwählen.
2) Mit dem Masterregler (17) wird der Gesamtpegel
aller angeschlossenen Tonquellen eingestellt.

3) Zum Ablesen des Masterpegels die Umschalttaste
(2) drücken: Bei gedrückter Taste zeigt die LED-
Pegelanzeige (3) den Stereo-Ausgangspegel an,
der am Masterausgang (27) zur Verfügung steht.
3) Connect the input of the amplifier to the master
output (27).
4) If a monitoring system exists, connect the am-
plifier of the monitoring system to the output
BOOTH (28).
5) For audio recordings connect the recording unit
to the record output REC (29). The recording
level is independent of the position of the master
control (17) and of the control BOOTH (15).
6) For optimum console illumination it is possible to
connect a gooseneck lamp (12 V/5 W max.) to the
XLR jack LAMP (4), e. g. lamp GNL-405 from the
"img Stage Line" range. The lamp is switched on
and off via the mixer.
7) By means of stereo headphones it is possible to
monitor both the pre-fader level of each input
channel and the current music programme ahead
of the master fader (17) – see chapter 5.5 "Pre-
fader listening of the channels via headphones".
Connect the headphones (impedance ≥ 8 Ω) to
the jack PHONES (20).
8) Finally connect the plug of the mains cable (25)
to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).

Operation
Prior to switching on, the output controls MASTER
(17) and BOOTH (15) should be set to minimum in
order to prevent loud switching noise. Then switch
on the mixer by means of the on/off switch POWER
(14). The red LED (13) above the switch will indicate
that the unit is ready for operation. Then switch on
the connected units.
5.1 Basic adjustment of the input channels
For an optimum level adjustment of the units con-
nected to the input channels set all gain controls (6),
equalizer controls (7) and the balance control (16) to
mid-position.
1) Select the connected signal sources via the se-
lector switches (5).
