∙ Pull the knife blade several times through the blade lead 2, as described for rough
grinding.
∙ Always pull the knife towards yourself through the blade lead.
∙ Once finished, turn off the device and unplug.
∙ The knives are sharp if you no longer feel any burr. A burr feels rough to the blade.
Slowly touch over the blade with your fingers. Do not touch along the blade!
If the diamond abrasive wheels are worn out too much and bad results were achie-
ved, a new grinding chamber is needed.
Long-term usage: in order not to damage the motor, the operating time
should not exceed 10 minutes. Then, let the motor cool down for approx. 5
minutes.
