Important: Never place this device on or next to hot surfaces
(e.g. hot stoves). Only use it on a even, stable and a heat resisting
surface. It is important that no inflammable items are near to the
device. Do not place the device on the edge of the table so that it
cannot be touched by children or fall down when touched.
Usage
Rough grinding (1)
For grinding, the knife blade must always be clean. Do not grind knives that are not
easy to insert into the V-slot!
Serrated knives should only be ground in the blade lead 2. Make sure that only the
straight blade surface is ground.
∙ Plug in the device and turn it on.
∙ Place the knife blade on the left side of the blade lead 1 and slowly pull it along
the knife outline from the back to the front without great pressure. Then, pull the
blade through the right side of the blade lead 1. These two processes should be
repeated approx. 4-5 times.
∙ Make sure that the blade is not twisted.
