Fitting instructions

1)
Disassemble the bumper and remove the spare wheel. Permanently remove the bumper
supports.
2)
Slide the mounting bars (1) and (2) into the chassis beams until the points (A), (B), (C) and (D)
of those pieces fit the holes in the chassis beams. Place the mounting pieces (3) against the
outside of the chassis beams and insert the necessary bolts.
3)
Now place mounting pieces (4) and (5) with points (A) on the already inserted bolts. The points
(E) of (i) and (j) fit the holes in the chassis beam. Place the mounting pieces (6) against the
outside, insert the necessary bolts, washers and nuts, but do not tighten them.
4)
Place the tow bar in between the already mounted pieces (3), so that points (F) and (G) of the
tow bar fit those of the mounting pieces. Insert the necessary bolts and washers.
5)
Place the supporting beams (7) and (8) with the points (H) on the liberated drillings (where the
originals were attached). Insert the bolts, washers and nuts and tighten them firmly.
Now slide the bumper over the tow bar and insert the bolts, washers and nuts in (I). Attend to
the position of the bumper in the slot holes until it is parallel with the car. Then tighten
everything firmly (tow bar and bumper).
6)
Assemble (*) and also tighten firmly.
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
