6. Install the foam element onto the air filter.
TIP
Be sure the foam element sealing surface matches the
air filter so there is no air leak.
NOTICE
The engine should never run without the foam ele-
ment; excessive piston and cylinder wear may
result.
7. Tighten the wing nut, install the air filter case
cover and then tighten the air filter case cover nut.
