Safety instructions
Before using the machine, read all
instructions carefully.
The instructions contain impor-
tant sections on safety.
Special attention must be paid to
the safety information contained in
frames and accompanied by a
warning symbol (a triangle) followed
by a signal word, as shown below.
DANGER
indicates immediate hazards which
WILL result in serious or fatal injury if
the warning is not observed.
WARNING
indicates hazards or hazardous proce-
dures which COULD result in serious
or fatal injury if the warning is not
observed.
CAUTION
indicates hazards or hazardous proce-
dures which COULD result in injury or
damage to equipment if the warning is
not observed.
Use only authorized parts. Any
damage or malfunction caused by the
use of unauthorized parts is not

covered by Warranty or Product
Liability.
Also observe the following general
safety instructions.
Make sure that there are no other
personnel close to the grinding
machine while grinding is in progress.
Always wear goggles, protective
clothing, gloves and ear protectors
during grinding. Any local regula-
tions must also be followed.
Wear an approved dust mask or
arrange an effective dust extraction
system. This is especially important
when dry grinding indoors.
The machine must not be used for
any work other than that for which it
is intended, i.e. that which is de-
scribed under the heading "Applica-
tions" on page 5.
The machine must not be modified
without the permission of the manu-
facturer. Modifications not approved
by Secoroc can incur the risk of
serious injury to yourself or others.
Before starting any work on the
air system, make sure that it is
without pressure. Air at high pressure
can blow out with the risk of injury to
the eyes and skin.
Beware of the risk of fire and/or
explosion that could be initiated by
sparks from the grinding work.
