9 - CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The espas20 car park system has been designed and constructed to provide many
years' operations provided the few required maintenance operations are carried out
punctually and carefully.
Cleaning the printer unit
We recommend to keep the printer unit as clean as possible as this is a delicate point
of the printer. Follow the indications and plan weekly maintenance operations.
1 - Open the top door
2 - Remove the paper
3 - Remove any pieces of paper using an oil-free
compressor
4 - Gently clean the printing head with a dry cloth and
isopropyl alcohol (as illustrated in the figure letter A)
5 - Close the door and insert paper
ATTENTION! Disconnect the station before
cleaning the printer unit

Removing a jammed ticket

Remove a jammed ticket:
- Open the door
- Remove any remaining shreds inside the gears
- Gently lift the printer cover and remove any pieces of paper

External cleaning

Clean the column only with water and a small amount of mild detergent, avoid doing so
when the sun is beating.
