• The heating elements are made of cast iron. The heat comes from
the spiral filaments lying in rings in the element.
• The heat is transferred by direct conduction to the base of the pan.
When the hob is in use the control light on the control panel goes
on.
• Before using your new hob for the first time, each element should
be switched on to the highest setting for 3-4 minutes, without a pan
being used.
• The manufacturer has applied a rust-preventive layer to each
element. When the hob is heated strongly for the first time a
burning smell will be noticeable. This is normal.
• Moisture on the elements can cause rust.
The electric hob has a control switch with
settings from 0 - 6.
