HOW TO USE
1. Place appliance using Handles on a flat level surface, away from wall.
2. ENSURE THAT AREA WHERE APPLIANCE IS BEING USED IS WELL-VENTILATED.
BE CAREFUL OF SPLATTERING FAT OR JUICE WHEN GRILLING FOODS.
3. Position Reversible Plate over the Element so that it lays flat on the unit
plate supports. To use as a warming tray or to prepare fondue, use
smooth-faced plate. For grilling or barbecuing meats, fish or vegetables,
use ridged plate.
4. Place Raclette Pans under element so they rest on the Lower Plate. Set
Temperature Control to the "OFF" position. Plug the Power Cord into a
120 volt AC wall outlet. Turn Temperature Control clockwise to "MAX"
and preheat for about 20 minutes. The "MAX" setting of temperature
control is used for preheat only. Please note that the Pilot Light will
cycle on and off during the cooking period to maintain the optimum tem-
perature.
5. Turn Temperature Control counter-clockwise to "8" for cooking. Please
note that settings of "1" through "8" reflect temperatures ranging from
low to high respectively. The Temperature Control may be adjusted during
cooking for optimal cooking results.
6. Raclette Pans can be moved on and off the Lower Plate as food is
cooked and served. BE SURE TO PLACE HOT RACLETTE PANS ON A
HEAT-RESISTANT SURFACE.
