ACCEssorY).
The anti-condensation mixing valve is used in solid combustion heating devices and boilers since it prevents the return of cold water into the
heat exchanger. Sections 1 and 3 are always open and, together with the pump installed on the return (R), they guarantee circulation of water
inside the heat exchanger of the biomass boiler (Down-fired Boiler).
A high return temperature enables improved efficiency, reduces the formation of smoke condensation and prolongs the boiler's life-span.
Once the valve's calibration temperature has been reached, section 2 is opened and the boiler's water goes to the system through the supply.
IMPORTANT: failure to install the device shall render the boiler's warranty null and void.

According to EN 303-5, the safety heat exchanger of the LNK boiler must be equipped with a certified thermal discharge valve (can be
supplied as an opTIoNAL accessory).
If the boiler exceeds a temperature of 95 °C, this valve enables inflow of cold water in order to prevent a further increase in the boiler's
temperature.
A sufficient supply of drinking water must be guaranteed to the thermal discharge valve, and it must be carried out in accordance with best
practice (public mains).
Domestic water systems are not permitted.
The thermal discharge valve must be assembled in the safety heat exchanger input (D.S.A.).
Make sure that the water pressure is constantly at min. 1.5 bar. If there are problems with the water pressure, the system must be decommissioned.
The safety heat exchanger must never be used for domestic hot water production/heating.
