INSTALLATION MANUAL
2 • Drilling the bumper
IMPORTANT: Before drilling the bumper, please test the parking sensor with real position to prevent incorrect positioning.
FIG 1 • A drilling tool (hole saw) is provided with the product. Installation can be done on
the injected plastic bumpers, ABS or polyester with a maximum thickness of 4 mm., Metal
bumpers are excluded. Please protect the bumper at the drilling point 6 to 10 cm2 of an
adhesive type of paint to damage the bumper during drilling. Please use a drill with a variable
speed and reversing the direction of rotation. Drilling with the hole saw must be done
meticulously at a slow speed (200 revolutions per minute).
Start with the piercing light counter clockwise at low speed (200 rev / min) of the paint
of the bumper so as not to damage it.
Then drill in the direction of clockwise at low speed (200 rev / min) the plastic wall of the
bumper.
After drilling, we recommend a light sanding of the interior edges to deburr the hole. We also
recommend a thin veil of paint on the edges of the hole and from inside the hole to prevent
sagging of the bumper.
