4.9. ADDING MODULES AND CONFIGURING THE TAKE-OFFS
MODULYS® ECM enables modules to be added to the unit intake or discharge. Hence it is possible to
add:
-
A filtration module
-
A hot water thermal module
-
A changeover thermal module
-
An electric thermal module
4.9.1. ADDING AN ANCILLARY MODULE
Before the ancillary module can be fitted, remove the intake or supply air panel to enable coupling.
To ensure perfect sealing, mount a closed-cell polyethylene foam seal (15x5) (supplied with the
ancillary module) around the perimeter of the aluminium profile.
Remove the inspection doors from the ventilation unit and the ancillary module. Use the fasteners and
spacers supplied.
Insert the spacers between the two modules at the rivets crimped onto the ventilation module
aluminium profiles.
Using the 4 M8 screws supplied, connect via the inside of the ancillary module as shown in the diagram
below, inserting them via the pilot holes. Tighten on the ancillary module side.
Refit the inspection doors on the unit and module.
