1.4 - ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS FOR THE CDAR BI RANGE
- The CDAR BI range can be used with either a motor with independent windings or a variable speed drive to control
a three-phase motor. A bridge (5 and 6) called "without variable speed drive" on terminal J12 of the GMC145 PCB is
removed for use with a variable speed drive.
The variable speed drive function is compatible with Senseo Drive RT-Control model T400 drives and SoftDrive IP20 V2s
from France Air.

Remote control is via the Evolys One 0-10 V as per the diagrams supplied with the product.

1.5 - ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS FOR BOXES

- 1 display indicating the box status
- 1 additional position dry contact for the CMS per smoke extraction speed
- Controlling the firefighter's remote control shutdown device.
- 2 keys (on the PCB) to simulate the firefighter shutdown and reset. These keys are reserved for use by the installer.
1.6 - POSSIBLE OPTIONS
- Proximity switch and pressure switch (adjustment range from 1 to 10 mbar) integrated in the box if it is located less
than 2 metres from the fan for all 3 A to 43 A boxes.
- Remove the red clip to enable the box's integrated proximity sensor to be connected.

1.7 - EXTERNAL CONNECTION

- External connection terminal for a pressure switch and/or auxiliary
contact of a proximity switch, if the unit has this function.

2. INPUT AND OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS

2.1 - SELV INPUTS, CLASS III

- Input specifications
• The direct current remote control voltage must be provided by a back-up electrical supply (AES) outside the box and may be
between 24 VDC -15%/+20% and 48 VDC -15%/+20%
• The maximum power consumed at 48 V is 0.5 W per input.
• The voltage polarity on each input is not important.
- E. TELE: LS/HS remote control input (safety order)
• The remote control voltage from the fire safety control panel, via power supply cable. The safety power switches are
commutated no more than one second after the safety order is issued.
• This order is saved in a non-volatile memory during a mains outage to ensure resumption in safety mode when mains
power is restored.
- E.A.P. "firefighter's shutdown"
• The remote control voltage is via the power supply cable. This order is a voltage maintained during the firefighter's
shutdown phase.
- E.Réarm: "reset input"
• The remote control voltage is via the power supply cable. This order is a pulse voltage.
