Section 10.0 Cleaning & Disinfection
The following cleaning and disinfection procedures are recommended by Gyrus ACMI. Use of any
procedures not expressly recommended by Gyrus ACMI may adversely affect or damage Gyrus
ACMI devices and may void Gyrus ACMI's Limited Express Warranty.
Follow all applicable bloodborne pathogen procedures as indicated by OSHA and/or your hospital
requirements when cleaning, disinfecting, and/or sterilizing instruments.

10.1 Cabinet

The cabinet may be cleaned with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with a surface-cleaning solution.

Section 11.0 Accessories

Berkeley SafeTouch Collection System
The Berkeley SafeTouch Collection System is a completely disposable, closed containment system
for use with the vacuum curettage system. The use of this system reduces the risk of exposure to
bloodborne pathogens. It is available with or without a sealed tissue trap that eliminates handling the
specimen. The collection system is sold in packages of 10 and comes complete with sealing caps.
