VOLUMETRIC VERSION
Press key 2 (fig.C-T2) and keep it pressed for at least 5
seconds, the display shows "P003" (fig.C-1) then release
it and set the day of the week (1=Monday, 2=Tuesday,
3=Wednesday, etc.) and the actual hours and minutes.
Again press key 2 (fig.C-T2), the display shows "P080"
(fig.C-1), release it and then set to the hours and
minutes when you want to effect the regeneration of
the softener.
Press key 2 (fig.C-T2), the screen shows "P050" (fig.C-1),
release it and then set the total duration of the
regeneration in minutes (see table n°3).
Press key 2 (fig.C-T2), the screen shows "P040" (fig.C-1),
release it and set the cycle of the softener, that is to say,
the volume of softened water in litres, produced
between 2 regenerations (table n°2).
Press key 2 (fig.C-T2), the screen shows "P071" (fig.C-1),
release it and repeat the operation to scroll on the
screen, in turn, "P072", "P073", "P074", "P075", "P076" and
"P077". Do not modify the values "00300" which are the
averages per day, programmed in the factory. The
microprocessor of the EUROMAT 2, when placed under
voltage, automatically calculates daily the average of
consumption. The values of "P071" to "P077" are
therefore constantly updated.
End the programming by pressing key 2 (fig.C-T2), the
screen shows the actual hours and minutes on the
upper line and the initial cycle "01000" on the lower line
(fig.C-1).
If others program steps are displayed, do not take them
into account and go to the next step with the key 2
(fig.C-T2).
COMMISSIONING
Withdraw the salt gate (fig.A-2) then the cover of the
stack (fig.A-4). Carefully withdraw brine regulator (fig.A-
5) of the stack , then check the dimension "X"
(according to table 4) which is factory-preset.
Then replace the regulator (fig.A-5) in the stack (fig.A-4),
then close with its cover. Make use of the salt gate
being withdrawn to make up the salt and then replace
the gate correctly.
Gently turn on the water to be treated and flush the
installation by pressing key 1 (fig.C-T1) of the control box
for 5 seconds, then release it. The water will flow through
the hose (fig.B-1) to the drain. Allow it to flow for at least
10
minutes,
then
interrupt
simultaneously pressing the keys 1 and 2 (fig.C).
The flow ceases and the screen (fig.C-1) shows the
programmed time and cycle. The EUROMAT 2 is now
ready to produce softened water.
Check the count of the control box by opening a draw-
off point downstream (cycle display) (fig.C-1) (allow at
least 1 litre to flow).
ADJUSTMENT OF TOTAL RESIDUAL HARDNESS
Tighten the red thumbwheel (fig.E-B) fukky home, then
back off over ½ or ¾ turn. On the installation
downstream from the water softener, open a tap at low
flow-rate and set the residual hardness by turning knob
(fig.E-A) clockwise to increase the residual hardness or
counterclockwise to decrease it. When setting is fulfilled,

fully open the tap to release a high flow-rate, tighten
thumbwheel (fig.E-B) if the hardness is too high or loosen
it if the hardness is too low.
REGENERATION
To trigger a regeneration manually, press key 1 (fig.C-T1)
for 5 seconds, then release it. Regeneration will then
proceed automatically. An internal by-pass makes it
possible to distribute raw water during its regeneration.
AUTO / MANU
Key 3 "Auto/Manu" (fig.C-T3) makes it possible to
interrupt the automatic functioning of the program of
softener. Press key 3 (fig.C-T3) for 5 seconds, then
release it and a symbol appears (fig.C-1).
This mode of functioning must occasionally be used,
because the regeneration of your equipment at the
end of the cycle can only take place on the
intervention by an operative by pressing key 1 (fig.C-T1)
for 5 seconds.
To revert to automatic functioning, press key 3 (fig.C-T3)
for 5 seconds, then release it; the symbol  disappears
(fig.C-1).
The EUROMAT 2 is protected against power interruptions.
All programmed information such as the time, the
parameters of regeneration, consumption, averages,
etc. is saved by a lithium battery.
MAINTENANCE
It is necessary to check, regularly and according to
consumption, the level of the regenerating salt in the
salt reservoir (fig.A-1). When the equipment is in
operation, the water in the tank must not be above the
salt. Top up the salt regularly via the salt filling gate
(fig.A-2) located above the tank. Check the residual
hardness once a month, using the total hardness test
after
softening
and
adjustment, if necessary. Every technical installation
requires regular maintenance. The maintenance must
be carried out once a year, twice a year, in the case of
collective
installations. This
according to the standard in force, by qualified
personnel.
DISINFECTION
If the equipment has remained unused for a long period
in
temperate
surroundings,
necessary. This operation must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
