The leg assemblies (B) chosen for use must be selected in accordance with Figure 8. Failure to

Step 3.
Fully insert both leg tube assemblies (B) into the center Section housing (D) and align the
mounting holes. Fully insert the positive locking pins (C) into the aligned holes to secure the
connection.
Step 4.
Fully insert the cross member extension tube (F) into the center Section housing (D) and align
the mounting holes. Fully insert the positive locking pin (R) into the aligned holes to secure the
connection.
Steps 1-4 have created a partial assembly. Rest this assembly on the ground and move to Step 5.
NOTE:
For Model 8520867, skip to Step 8.
NOTE:
Step 5.
Insert the rear leg support pole (Q) into the rear support tube (J). Set the leg support pole at a
height that matches the front leg supports (B). Fully insert the detent pin (M) into the aligned
holes to secure the connection.
Step 6.
Insert the rack support assembly (K) into the bottom of the rear leg support pole (Q) and fully
insert the detent pin (P). Make sure the rack support assembly (K) is mounted perpendicular
(90°) to the rear support tube (J).
Step 7.
Fully Insert the weight rack assembly (H) onto the rear support tube (J). Secure into position by
tightening both tri-screws (L).
Step 8.
Connect the assembly from Steps 1-4 to the assembly from Steps 5-7 using the center connecting
tube (G). Insert the cross member extension tube (F) into one end of the center connecting tube
(G) and align the mounting holes at the desired location. Fully insert the detent pin (N) into the
aligned holes to secure the connection. Fully insert the cross member extension tube (F) into one
end of the center connecting tube (G) and align the mounting holes. Fully insert the rear support
tube (J) into the opposite end of the center connecting tube (G) and align the mounting holes.
Fully insert the detent pin (N) into the aligned holes to secure the connection.

COUNTERWEIGHT RACK ASSEMBLY: Model 8564496 (Refer to Figure 5.)
Read and follow the manufacturer's instructions for associated equipment (i.e. SRL, full body
WARNING:
harness, lanyard, lifeline, etc.) used in your personal fall arrest system.
Step 1.
In order to properly configure the 8564496 Counterweight Rack System, refer to Figure 8. This
table must be used to determine proper component selection for your application.

Step 2.
Fully insert both leg tube assemblies (B) into the center section housing (D) and align the
mounting holes. Fully insert the positive locking pins (C) into the aligned holes to secure the
connection.
Step 3.
Adjust the screw feet to the desired height using the crank handles (Q).
Step 4.
Fully insert the cross member extension tube (F) into the center section housing (D) and align
the mounting holes. Fully insert the positive locking pin (R) into the aligned holes to secure the
connection.
Steps 1-4 have created a partial assembly. Rest this assembly on the ground and move to Step 5.
NOTE:
Step 5.
Insert the rear leg support pole (Q) into the rear support tube (J). Set the leg support pole at a
height that matches the front leg assemblies (B). Fully insert the detent pin (M) at the desired
height.
Step 6.
Insert the rack support assembly (K) into the bottom of the rear leg support pole (Q) and fully
insert the detent pin (P). Make sure the rack support assembly (K) is mounted perpendicular
(90°) to the rear support tube (J).
Step 7.
Fully Insert the weight rack assembly (H) onto the rear support tube (J). Secure into position by
tightening both tri-screws (L).
Step 8.
Connect the assembly from steps 1-4 to the assembly from steps 5-7 using the center connecting
tube (G). Insert the cross member extension tube (F) into one end of the center connecting tube
(G) and align the mounting holes at the desired location. Fully insert the detent pin (N) into the
aligned holes to secure the connection. Fully insert the cross member extension tube (F) into one
end of the center connecting tube (G) and align the mounting holes. Fully insert the rear support
tube (J) into the opposite end of the center connecting tube (G) and align the mounting holes.
Fully insert the detent pin (N) into the aligned holes to secure the connection.3.5
