2. Open your computer's case and remove the screw and metal
filler bracket for an available PCI slot.
3. If necessary, unscrew the antenna to remove it from the PCI
adapter.
4. Hold the PCI adapter by its edges. Do not touch the contacts
on the connector. Insert the PCI adapter into the available PCI
slot and press it firmly to seat it in the connector.
5. If necessary, attach the antenna to the PCI adapter.
6. Plug in your computer and turn it on.
7. Windows 2000, ME, and 98SE users: skip ahead to Step 12.
8. If the Found New Hardware Wizard asks to connect to the Win-
dows update Web site to search for software, select No, not
this time and click Next.
9. With Install the Software Automatically selected, click Next.
10. If a window appears warning that the software has not passed
Windows Logo testing, click Continue Anyway. USRobotics
