Remove Anchor Screws / Bins / Shelves

1. Remove rear anchor screws (Fig.1,B).
2. Pull off top and bottom decorative trim pieces (Fig.2,G).
3. Remove screws (4x) from bottom trim bracket and then top trim
bracket.
4. Remove crispers (Fig.2,F) and beverage bin by pulling fully open
and then lifting up and forward on the front of each bin.
5. Remove ice bin (Fig.2,B).
6. Fresh food wire shelves (Fig.2,D):
If wire shelves are secured with retainer clips, leave shelves in
place.
7. Fresh food bottom shelf (Fig.2,E):
If bottom shelf is secured with screws, leave in place. If not,
pull shelf forward to remove.

Caution:
When removing unit from enclosure, always re-
!
move doors, front hardware, control panel and water dispenser
to create clearance and avoid damage to refrigerator.
1. Remove hinge covers (Fig.3,J); grasp corners and pull forward.
2. Open door. Remove upper hinge pin (Fig.2,H).
3. Rotate top of door forward; lift up and off of lower hinge. Set door
aside.
4. Repeat for all doors (4x).

Remove Middle Hinges and Strikeplate Assembly

Caution:
When removing unit from enclosure, always

remove doors, front hardware, and water dispenser to create
clearance and avoid damage to refrigerator.
Caution!
Mark shim location and replace ALL shims in
!
exactly the same positions to ensure effi cient door closure and
cooling.
1. Remove middle hinge brackets (Fig.4,K) (12x).
2. Remove upper and lower trim pieces (Fig.2,G); remove mounting
screws (8x). Set aside.
3. Remove strikeplate assembly:
With a screwdriver, press down on tabs inside slots (Fig.5,A)
on top of strikeplate assembly and pull upper-middle layer
(Fig.5,B) toward you.
Remove the lower-middle layer (Fig.5,C).
Remove top and bottom of strikeplate assembly (4x).
4. Remove screw (Fig.6,A). Remove control panel (Fig.6,B).
