4 CHARGING THE FLIGHT BATTERY

Attention: The battery and motor must cool down for 15 to 30 minutes before charging
and after every flight. Otherwise they can be damaged. The charging process must
be constantly monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place on a
fireproof surface in a fire-resistant environment.
4A • Remove the battery from the model to charge it
• Insert the USB balancer charger into a mains adapter with USB connection
or an activated USB hub.
• The Status LED on the upper side of the balancer charger will light up.
4B • Now insert the white balancer plug of the battery into the connection on the
the balancer charger.
• The Status LED flashes during the charging process.
• When the Status LED is lit permanently again, the charging process is finished.
The model can fly for up to 10 minutes after a charge time of approx. 150
minutes.
Warning notice: The battery does not normally heat up while charging. If it should
become warm or even hot and/or changes to the surface begin to appear, immediately
discontinue the charging process!
5 START PREPARATION
Assembling the rotors:
Remove the protective caps on the rotor shafts and attach the propellers to the shafts
according to the A or B marks.
5A Important: The rotor shafts are flattened on one side. A small bar is visible on the
rotors on the side next to the hub between A/B. Turn the rotor until this marking is
above the flattened side of the rotor shaft.
5B Two different screws are supplied to fasten the rotors:
• Rotors marked with A: black screws, to be turned ANTICLOCKWISE.
Important: left-hand threaded screw!
• Rotors marked with B: silver-coloured screws, to be turned CLOCKWISE.
The circular arrows around the A/B marks on the rotors indicate the direction of
rotation to unscrew the rotor fastening screws.
Important: Always replace a damaged rotor blade. Never fly the quadcopter with
a damaged rotor blade.
5C Removing the camera lens cap
Attention: In order to start the rotors, the following procedure must be followed
step-by-step EACH TIME THE MODEL IS SWITCHED ON.
5D To start the model, first switch on the transmitter, then insert the battery into the
