8. Installation and connection

When selecting the position for installing your camera, note that it must not be
subjected to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat or cold.
It must also be noted that this camera is an IP44 device. To this end, furthermore
ensure that the camera is not installed in places where water may develop (e.g.
melting snow).
No devices which make strong or electric fields, such as mobile phones, electric
motors, etc. must be in the immediate vicinity.
a) Installation
You will find the respective borings on the camera's screw feet to mount the camera on the wall with two
screws.
Using the ball-and-socket-joint in the screw foot you can freely align the camera.. To fixate the desired
position, tighten the milled screw.
Please note:
• Installation is only allowed on a vertical wall.
• The mains adapter and the control unit may only be used in dry indoor rooms.
The mains adapter must not get wet or damp. Danger to life through an electric
shock.
• Make sure that no cables are damaged when drilling or bolting down.
• Ensure that the connector of the connection cable to the camera is not subject to dampness. This
connector may be used in dry rooms only. The cable from the camera must thus (for installation in out-
door areas or in damp rooms) be placed so it is led into a dry room.
• All connection cables must neither be flexed nor squashed. Malfunctions, short circuits and defects to
the device can be the consequence.
