• Never position any containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, in the direct vici-
nity of the control unit. Liquids could seep into the casing and in doing so impair the electrical safety
of the device. There is furthermore a high risk of fire or of a life-threatening electric shock. If this is the
case, de-energise the corresponding socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and only then pull the
plug-in power supply from the socket. The product may not be operated any longer. Take it to a spe-
cialist workshop.
• Do not place sources of naked flame, such as burning candles, on the devices or in its vicinity. Use
the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate. Never touch the plug-in power
supply when your hands are damp or wet. Danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Never pull the plug-in power supply by the cable from the socket, always pull it out of the socket by
holding the plug itself.
• Do not bend the cables and do not place objects on them.
Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may become a dangerous toy
for children.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance
Associations for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be supervised
by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
