When filling the syringe, ensure that the volume of the medication filled does not exceed the filling
volume of the syringe (pre-programmed syringe size in the pump) or the partial volume programmed
into the pump.

When filling the syringe, ensure that the medication volume filled does not fall below the
preprogrammed partial volume. The infusion only starts as intended, when the pump piston and the
syringe plunger sit directly on each other.

To prevent unintended loss of medication during the connection of the SO-FILL syringe with the SO-
CONNECT infusion pump, close the reservoir with the Luer Lock cap.

To minimize the formation of air bubbles, the syringe should be filled and used at room temperature.
