Restarting the blender
S Set the rotary switch to 0.
S Attach the blender jug (note attachment
position).
S Set the rotary switch to the desired position.
Adding more ingredients
S Set the rotary switch to 0.
S Remove the lid and add the ingredients
or
S Take the funnel out of the lid: rotate the funnel
in an anti clockwise direction and remove.
S While operating the appliance, add solid
ingredients through the feed tube.
or
S Take the funnel out of the lid: rotate the funnel
in an anti clockwise direction and remove.
S Place the funnel with the large area on the lid
and pour liquid through the funnel.
After blending
S Set the rotary switch to 0.
S Remove the blender jug.
S Press the release button and open the lid.
First detach the lid and then remove.
Tip: It is recommended that the blender should
be cleaned immediately after use; see Cleaning
and care".

Risk of electric shock!
Before working on the appliance, always pull out
the mains plug!
Warning!
Surfaces may be damaged.
Do NOT use abrasive cleaning agents.
Wipe the motor block and aluminium casing with
a damp cloth only. If required, use a little
washing up liquid.
Cleaning the blender jug
Tip: Pour a little water and washing up liquid into
the attached blender jug. Switch to PULSE or
AUTO PULSE for a few seconds. Pour out the
water and rinse the blender jug with clean water.

Risk of injury from sharp blender blades!
Never reach into the blender jug. Never touch
the blender blades with bare hands. Clean with
a brush.
To prevent ingredients from sticking to the
blender and corroding the plastic (e.g. oils in
spices), it is recommended that the blender
should be cleaned immediately after use.
S The blender jug can be disassembled for
cleaning: unscrew the retaining ring on the
underside of the blender jug in an
anti clockwise direction (5a).
S Disassemble the retaining ring, aluminium
casing and plastic insert (5b).
S The plastic insert, lid and funnel can be cleaned
in the dishwasher. Wipe the aluminium casing
with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
S Re assemble in reverse sequence.
S Wipe the motor block with a damp cloth and
wipe dry.
Storage
S Pull out the mains plug.
S Retract the rotary switch: press in the switch
and slowly release.
S Stow the cable. Place the assembled blender
jug on the motor block.
Troubleshooting
Warning!
Before rectifying a fault, pull out the mains plug.
Fault
Blender does not
start.
Overload protection
was activated.
If any other faults occur, please contact our
customer service.
Action
S Attach blender jug
properly.
S Attach lid ensuring
that it locks into
position.
S Set blender to 0.
S Remove blender
jug, reduce quantity
of ingredients.
S Restart blender.
